Customer Support Gnergy Reviews
When it comes to customer service, the reviews are indeed mixed.
According to reviews on Trustpilot, they can either be extremely helpful or insulting. This does all depend on the individual, and it is not a guarantee of getting bad service if you do decide to switch to Gnergy.
Positive Customer Support Gnergy Reviews:
I have been with them for more than six months, and there have been no issues whatsoever. I have had my bills on time. Been providing my readings every month for no estimated bill. The customer service is always polite, and everyone speaks and understands fluent English.
Negative Customer Support Gnergy Reviews:
Everything has to be done by phone or email. Sometimes felt like they weren’t ready for customers, Certainly not those that live in a digital age? Despite switching to new energy company On 3 January 2017 Gnergy where incredibly slow in giving my details to the new supplier. It was the 28th April 2017 until I switched and had to pay their standard rate.

Gnergy Reviews
Gnergy currently has a Trustpilot rating of 2 out of 5 stars, with 60% of all their current reviews falling within the ‘bad’ category, and only 17% within the excellent category.
Many of these negative reviews say that the customer service is poor, and many of them have had unexpected large bills which they then do not get a helpful explanation or help.
While it is true that online reviews can be misleading, it is important to still take them on board when deciding which energy supplier is right for you.
Positive Gnergy Reviews
I have been with gnergy for a year now and just renewed for another, yes they are a small company, but I have found them to be professional and polite during any communication with them. They have also resolved VERY small issues I have had in a courteous manner. When it comes to prices, they are still one of the best around and reading my meters once a month is no great hardship.
Been with Gnergy fir the last three years. Customer services team very helpful on the phone and do not need to stay on hold at all.
Have already recommended to my friends and they have also switched.
Negative Gnergy Reviews
Having been a customer for a while, I like others received a snotty demand to get my account in credit even though all my Direct Debits are always collected on time (at the amount they requested). A message to them about the letter was ignored. I have over recent months noticed delays in reading acknowledgements and the sending out of monthly statements.
Awful energy provider. Massive price hike after the first year, rude and unprofessional customer service department and they even reinstated my direct debit after I was no longer their customer! Steer clear of them.

Who is Gnergy for?
Based on all of the information, including the reviews and information about the company and tariffs, Gnergy might be good for individuals who may not be native English speakers, as with their multilingual customer service team, there may be less confusion which can often result in less customer satisfaction.
Gnergy has also set out to target the Nepalese market of energy consumers in the UK.
Gnergy Review
Summary
This multi-language energy supplier offers a range of fixed and variable tariffs as well as excellent value for money, being one of the lowest priced domestic providers in the market. Gnergy only has a 3-star rating on Trustpilot. However, this seems to be primarily since the company is relatively new and it’s likely that these are the teething problems expected from young businesses.
Pros
- Save up to £200 with their dual fuel plan
- Multi-lingual customer support
- Excellent value for money
Cons
- 3-star rating on Trustpilot
- They do not offer an extensive range of services
- Some tariffs have an exit fee of £25 per fuel
