Switching

Business-only supplier: the quote form states it cannot quote for domestic properties. Contract prices are quoted individually through the website form, the sales team (0113 856 0100, quote@ygp.co.uk) or brokers. The Principal Terms Summary says there is no cooling-off period, that renewal options are offered about 60 days before a contract ends, and that out-of-contract rates apply from the day after the end date if you don't switch or renew. Other charges it lists: consumption more than 10% above or below the contracted amount is charged at out-of-contract rates, a £75 (or 6%) non-Direct Debit charge, late-payment fees of up to £100 per invoice, and a 3% fee for card payments. The standard terms (April 2024) let YGP extend a fixed term by written notice: up to 12 months for micro-businesses (notice at least 60 days before expiry) and up to five years for larger businesses (at least 120 days). Micro-businesses can object up to 30 days before expiry, and larger businesses between 90 and 120 days before. Written notice includes email. YGP may object to a switch while you are in contract or have arrears. Ofgem transferred the supply licences to E E Solutions Ltd from Eco Green Management Ltd on 2 April 2024.
