Switching

Quotes are requested through the website quote form (business.totalenergies.uk/business-energy-quote) and come with Eco (renewable) options. When a contract ends with no new contract or switch, the customer moves onto deemed rates and can leave at any time. Standard Variable Rates can be ended with 30 days' notice, and rate changes come with 30 days' notice. Non-Direct Debit customers pay an uplift on Standard Variable Rates. Existing accounts are being moved to a new service with account numbers starting 'A-', a dedicated customer team, a new bank account number for payments and a new online portal. The energy contract itself does not change. Direct Debit payments continue with no action needed. Contact details depend on the account prefix: accounts starting '300' use the web form and Customercare.uk@totalenergies.com; 'A-' accounts use 0333 051 0333 and contactus@business.totalenergies.uk. Micro businesses are offered a smart meter, and larger non-micro sites can choose a smart or AMR meter.
