ENGIE Power Limited is the UK business energy supply company of the French ENGIE group. It is based in Leeds and holds Ofgem electricity and gas supply licences. It sells fixed and pass-through contracts with fixes of up to five years and a 100% renewable electricity option on all contracts, and publishes only its deemed and default out-of-contract rates. ENGIE no longer supplies homes: its 70,000 domestic customers moved to Octopus Energy.

Switching

ENGIE supplies business customers only. Contract quotes come from the sales team (0333 666 0276), the online quote form (myquote-business.engie.co.uk) or directsales@engie.com. It does not publish contract prices. If you move into a site ENGIE supplies without a contract, you are charged its published deemed/default rates, which ENGIE says may be higher than contract rates. Micro-business sites get smart meters; larger sites get AMR meters. Micro and small business customers can take unresolved complaints to the Energy Ombudsman. ENGIE left the UK domestic market by selling its 70,000 household customers to Octopus Energy. Business customers were not affected.
