Switching

Business-only supplier; quotes are bespoke via web form or phone (adviser callback within 1 business day). Fixed contracts run 1-3 years; renewal offer sent around 60 days before end date. Out-of-contract microbusinesses roll onto the monthly-published deemed tariff and must give 28 days' notice to switch; D-ENERGi may object to a switch if a balance is outstanding. An advance payment is invoiced 3-4 weeks before the contract start. Contract prices assume a smart meter is installed; if one is refused or can't be fitted, D-ENERGi may move the contract to its default tariff. Additional charges may apply if less than 85% of agreed consumption is used. Documents are sent by email; postal invoices cost £1 each. The standard supply is not green: 100% UK wind electricity must be requested by email at the point of sale and needs a signed green contract. D-ENERGi participates in the Energy Ombudsman scheme.
