If you opt to pay via Direct Debit, you will receive your statement every six months. On the other hand, if you choose to pay once you receive your bill, you will have to make payments on a quarterly basis annually.

Remember, paying using Direct Debit is a cheaper option for you.

Note: Tariff type for electricity and gas includes prepayment, fixed rate, green, and standard variable deals.

The value of the average bill is calculated as the average price of the 14 regions that use 12500kwh gas, and 3100kwh electricity of Ofgem medium, dual fuel paying monthly via Direct Debit.

If you want to switch the energy suppliers before your contract expires, an exit fee is applicable on some tariffs.

You can contact their customer service via phone from Monday-Friday. Their lines are open from 8 am-8 pm and on Saturdays, they are available from 9 am-5 pm. You can also send them an email.

For any inquiries or complaints about their products or services, you will be required to give their customer service your Extra Energy account number.

If your problem cannot be immediately resolved by their customer service, it is passed on to the Complaints Management team for a conclusive resolution.

Your complaint should be resolved within four weeks. However, if this is not possible, you will be notified.
