Crowdfunding seems to be quickly becoming the go-to finance tool for a lot of entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses, and with good reason, as it can be a viable means for raising money for certain types of projects.
But it’s not as simple or easy as it might seem, and far more crowdfunding campaigns fail than get epically funded, so as with any new venture, it could pay to do your homework beforehand and learn what the best practices and strategies are for crowdfunding.
One way to do that is to attend an event like the Global Crowdfunding Convention and Bootcamp, which is billed as the world’s largest of its kind, and which is coming up next month in Las Vegas, NV.
This year’s event, the third so far, will feature keynote addresses from such experts as Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank, as well as numerous classes, workshops, and presentations.
“#GCCB2014 will feature three straight days of inspirational and educational opportunities for everyone. Participants will enjoy a world class lineup of speakers, stellar panels and workshops, interactive mentoring and coaching breakout sessions. Attendees will have the chance to meet face-to-face with leading industry experts, fellow entrepreneurs, renowned industry sponsors and much more.”
